Blameless was described by the American Library Association’s Booklist as “a subtle Job story… dead-on in its appreciation of academic life in a multicultural, deconstructed new century.” King’s Ransom was the winner of the 2005 Christy Award for historical fiction and was also selected as a Reviewer’s Choice by the Romance Writers of America. Sunday Clothes received a starred review from ALA’s Booklist. Jabez: A Novel (“Each page is finely crafted… Highly recommended.” –Lynn Waalkes, CBA Marketplace, October 2001) appeared on the CBA Marketplace Best-Seller list for clothbound fiction in March 2002 (#9) and April 2002 (#3), and has been translated into Dutch, German, and Afrikaans, in addition to the release of a separate edition in the United Kingdom by Hodder and Stoughton. Daughter of Jerusalem ("..an impressionistic, deeply felt character study..." –ALA Booklist Online), Woman of Means (“…an easy to read, delightful story… suitable for readers of all ages.” –BookBrowser review, August 2000), and Mother of Faith comprise the “Daughters of Faith” series.
